McCain Non-News Story – NYT Stirs The Pot Again

Reports are in that John McCain lost his cool when questioned about the John Kerry 04 VP story that is so well known to all and sundry. It was a ‘reporter’ from the NYT (surprise, surprise) who persisted in quizzing McCain about an event to which there was no further information to add. It is old news.

Elisabeth Bumiller, the NYT employee in question, continued to bug the Senator like a mosquito buzzing around one’s head. Thankfully, McCain demonstrated he has enough fight and spunk in him, despite his age, to take on anyone trying to stir up another non-story.

McCain has taken on the right-wing extremist talkshow hosts and won, he has faced numerous attempts by the left-wing media to besmirch his name, and he will continue to stand up to a barrage of abuse from the Democrats. That’s nothing.

He is a strong man with great integrity and courage. This is precisely what America and the world needs as tough challenges will arise in the coming years.

Obama’s own advisor, Susan Rice, hit the nail on the head when she said, in response to the Clinton ‘3 a.m.’ advertisement, “Clinton hasn’t had to answer the phone at three o’clock in the morning and yet she attacked Barack Obama for not being ready. “They’re both not ready to have that 3 a.m. phone call.”

John McCain is ready to take that 3 a.m. phone call. I just would not want to be the person that has to wake him at 3 a.m. to take that call.

“I spent several years in a North Vietnamese prison camp, in the dark, fed with scraps. Do you think I want to do that all over again as vice president of the United States?”
