Fox News Republican Debate In Six Sentences

1) Giuliani came out of the debate very strongly having been fed some juicy questions and comments relating to terrorism and 9/11.

2) John McCain defended himself with aplomb and attacked Romney with accuracy and skill but suffered slightly from weak questions such as the confederate flag issue in SC – too localised.

3) Ron Paul virtually declared himself insane with his Rosie O’Donnell performance – maybe he was auditioning for The View?

4) There were simply too many candidates and too little time for meaningful answers.

5) Sam Brownback did his best impersonation of an eyelid-fluttering Ronald Reagan but added little in terms of content.

6) The debate revealed little but the major candidates avoided the traps.
